For the 5th graders we are really moving on technology use for our end of the unit projects!! In Ms. Goyen's class we are podcasting about the weather, stay tuned for the actual podcasts that will be posted to this blog.
For Ms. Natalie's class we are creating space and weather vocabulary flashcards using PowerPoint. The PowerPoints will also be posted here. When we come back from break we will start chemistry. Fun stuff.

Electricity and Magnetism
We are starting our new unit on Electricity and Magnetism. By now I hope you have all received your new science packet. The math and experiments are for fun and do not have to be turned in, however I would be happy to see any work you do. Look around you everyday and notice the many ways that we use electricity. What would life be like with out it? Consider writing a story about your ideas.
