5th grade

This week in science we are learning about and experiencing chemical reactions. We made chalk. If you ask your student how they know when a chemical reaction has happened hopefully they will tell you that a change has happened. They should be able to tell you that temperature change, gas, and a precipitate are all evidence of a chemical reaction.

4th grade

This week in science we are learning how to make a complete circuits and lighting bulbs. We also learned a little about static electricity.

4th grade

We are still experimenting with distance and the force of attraction. We will learn how to graph our data.

5th grade

This week we will learn about saturation. At home you might want to try to make different concentrations for lemonade or Kool-aid. What concentration do you like best?
